Specialties
Pregnancy & Postpartum Corrective Exercise for diastasis recti, hernias, incontinence, core strength, and improved posture.
Hypermobility requires retraining awareness for your body’s range of motion. This is true for people with Ehlers-Danlos, HSD, or without an acronym.
Laptop Posture as well as Tech Neck, forward-rounded shoulders, kyphosis, lordosis, and other postural issues.
Active Aging by moving the spine in all available directions and pursuing sufficient strength, mobility, and cardiovascular fitness to maintain quality of life after 65.
I teach classically-inspired Pilates. Clients say sessions with me are fun, challenging, and ever-changing. (They also like the weird voices I make.)
Pilates allowed me to rehab and reconnect with my body after injuries incurred between weight lifting and yoga, starting in 2014.
I began student teaching in Denver in 2016, while completing a now-defunct 600+ hour Classical Pilates teacher training program. I am a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher, and Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist as of 2024.
I offer several in-person workshops, including: The Pilates Shoulder Connection, Meet the Chair, and Standing Balance for Aging Well. (Contact me about teaching workshops at your studio!)
Having worked under an Occupational Therapist for several years, I am confident working with clients that are pregnant/postpartum, active agers, youth athletes, and anyone wanting to improve core strength and body awareness.
In my free time, I enjoy reading physical books, attending to my houseplants, and petting stray cats in foreign shores. Most importantly, you should know that I prefer sweet to savory snacks. 😁
